Hyeres Day 5

Sorry for not posting after racing yesterday. We had a late start time and ended up with a small postponement so we were racing until 7pm. Today, was a little colder than it has been but a similar direction as the first two days of racing. We kept the points close yesterday and we had some pressure off us since we have not used our drop. We lacked speed today which made our upwinds a little bit harder, but we still managed two top ten finishes. Unfortunately, the New Zealand girls won both races today, so they will be hard to beat in the medal race tomorrow. We have been sailing very well and are pretty stoked with our learning curve at this event. We had some great comebacks again today and our downwind sailing is becoming a huge strength. We are excited to be sailing for a silver medal tomorrow!!

We would like to thank the sponsors and supporters of the US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider especially our title sponsor Sperry Top-Sider.
