Today was a beautiful day in Hyeres and we were greeted with light winds when we woke up this morning. The breeze was out of the wrong direction, so we were held ashore until it shifted and filled from the proper direction. We weren’t in postponement for that long which was a nice change from Miami and Palma where we spent the majority of the day waiting. Today was a completely different day from the first two days of the regatta and we sailed well for how poorly we got off the starting line. We had some great comebacks both races and were pleased with our speed around the course. It is always nice to have some wheels and that helped us a ton today. We have a later start time tomorrow and the forecast looks much lighter for the last two days of the finals series.
